Moving ahead in E-Readers

The Nook’s advantages over the Kobo also contain excellent organize over the typeface (six fonts), font size, line spacing and even page margins. The Kobo offers simply two fonts and no spacing or margin controls. It’s also slower than the Nook; sometimes you tap double, wondering if your first tap even registered.

New stamps highlight Art Deco design

Muscular details of some of Canada’s most epic works of Art Deco architecture are being downsized to robust on Canada Post stamps. Released to the public on June 9, the stamps use black and white photography and colourful, rounded fonts to highlight the strength of Art Deco design that, during the misery era, transformed water filtration plants and bridges into civic works of art. The domestic stamps, created by Toronto graphic designer Ivan Novotny, characteristic five structures from across Canada
